Dr. Larry Chang Promoted to Associate Professor

Baltimore, MD—The Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins Medicine announced yesterday the promotion of Larry William Chang, MD, MPH, to Associate Professor of Medicine.

Dr. Chang is a member of the faculty at the Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education (CCGHE), and a physician trained in internal medicine, infectious diseases, and epidemiology. He is internally known for his multidisciplinary, innovative, and pragmatic approaches to impacting the HIV/AIDS pandemic, and for his work focusing on improving patient linkage to care and adherence to therapy in resource limited settings, particularly Uganda.

Dr. Chang is one of the inventors of emocha, a mobile health platform developed by experts at the Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education (CCGHE), and he retains an advisory role at emocha® Mobile Health, Inc., as Scientific Director.
