Global Grand Rounds in Infectious Diseases (2019-01-23)

44yr/M, farmer by occupation, resident of Maharashtra, presented with c/o:
– abdominal pain
– yellowish discoloration of eyes and urine
– generalised itching

Abdominal pain – more in epigastric region, increased with f ood intake and not related to change of posture.

H/o passing clay coloured stoos and passage of few drops of blood at the start of defecation which was painless.

No history of fever / chest pain / vomiting
