Linda Bucay

MPH Student

Linda Bucay is an MPH student at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health concentrating in social and behavioral sciences. She began working with Dr. Kathleen Page in July 2016 to conduct research on the mental health needs of, and access to health care for, Spanish-speaking immigrant populations.


Previously, she worked in clinical research in different regions of Mexico, primarily related to mental health and substance use disorders. Her research interests include health disparities, social and structural determinants of health as well as the improvement of health care services for immigrants, racial/ethnic minorities, and other vulnerable populations.

Ms. Bucay anticipates completing her studies in July 2017.
