TB Case Discussion (2017-09-06)

62 year old previously healthy male from Cape Verde

First presented to PCP in Dec 2015 with multiple abscesses over chest, back and axilla x 1 yr. Prior history of I&D of lesion on back in Cape Verde followed by oral antibiotic.

Referred to Dermatology for suspected hidradenitis suppurativa

Ultrasound of chest mass: 6 x 3 cm lobulated mass over sternum, could be consistent with lipoma, no features of abscess
