56 y/o Filipino Male presented w/ 3 day hx of hemoptysis and 10lb wt loss over 1 yr. CT chect showed scarring w/ traction bronchiectasis in Bilat UL, groundglass opacties in RUL, BLL. HIV-negative. Initil Sputum:

– Day 1: smear +, GXP+, rpoB mutation detected
– DAY 1 SAMPLE 2: SMEAR -, gxp negative
– Day 2: smear neg, GXP positive, Rif indeterminate
