The goal is to meet people where they are to answer questions and hopefully get the jab. Especially, in communities hardest hit by the virus.

"We also know that a lot of people in the Latin-X community, that may not have a primary care provider to ask those questions, so by being at events like this we can then answer those questions," Bigelow said.

According to Baltimore Health Department data, more than 20,000 Hispanic people in the city are fully vaccinated. But that's in comparison to more than 270,000 non-Hispanic people who are fully vaccinated. Though, despite those numbers, Bigelow said they are seeing vaccine hesitancy decrease.
